wofr Privacy Policy

We at wofr (“we”, “us” and “our”), are committed to protecting the security of information provided by every user (“User”) of wofr. This privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”) describes:

• The types of information that we may collect from the User when the User accesses or uses wofr website, hotspot, progressive web application (collectively, wofr’s "Services") and information that the User has provided while accessing Wi-Fi hotspots of wofr partner agencies
• our practices for collecting, using, maintaining, protecting and disclosing that information.

This policy DOES NOT apply to information the User may provide to brands listed on the wofr progressive web app, outside of our Services and partner hot-spot agencies. This policy DOES NOT apply to the information that the User provides on social networks that the User uses in connection to our Services.

The User is advised to read the Privacy Policy carefully prior to using wofr. By agreeing to use wofr, the User hereby agrees to be bound by the terms and conditions contained herein and the User expressly gives us the consent to collect and use the User’s information solely in the manner contemplated herein below.

Information collected

wofr collects User information via partner agencies where the User has logged on to a Wi-Fi hotspot using a phone number and a One Time Password (OTP) based authentication. we also collect User information via wofr Services like the progressive web application, website and hotspots. Such information shall include, but is not limited to

• a MAC address assigned to the Wi-Fi enabled device used by the User
• phone number of the User
• name of the User
• email address of the User
• User interaction on wofr progressive web app

Method and manner of use of information

• we may use the User information to send SMS/WhatsApp/Email/App notification or any mobile based communication to the User when the User is in vicinity of any wofr affiliated marketplace
• we may use the User information to show shop or hot-spot details and/or offers of merchant brands in the affiliate marketplace on the wofr progressive web application

The User may receive telephone or text messages from us, with information on new products and services or upcoming events, Wi-Fi Offers, and deals and discounts, which we think a User may be interested in. The User hereby authorizes us and our partners to send SMS/Voice calls/Notifications to mobile number, even if the number is registered for DND “Do not Disturb” service. If the User does not wish to receive such telephone calls or text messages, please let us know by sending us an email at ceo@wofr.in

Information security

The information provided by the User is stored in access controlled facilities with restricted access. User Information transmitted over the internet is protected through the use of encryption, using the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol.

Procedure for correcting any inaccuracies in information

The User may correct or update any information on the wofr progressive web app link provided to the user via SMS

We reserve the right to change or update this Privacy Policy at any time. Such changes will be effective immediately upon posting on www.wofr.in
